Summer Internships

The Berger Institute is partnering with the following organizations in summer 2017 to offer exciting internships that aim to provide students with valuable, real-world experience:

Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, CA): offering two exciting internships with Kaiser’s Care Delivery Technology Services team. This opportunity aims to provide students with real‐world experience and exposure to programs designed to educate, connect, and develop leadership at Kaiser Permanente.

Qualified applicants should be able to work both independently and with a team and have an avid interest in and knowledge of technology.

US District Court  (Los Angeles, CA). The Berger Institute is pleased to offer an exciting internship in human resource policies with the U.S. District Court. Interns will work in the Human Resources Department and will be involved in daily administrative and human resources-related tasks and assignments. In addition, interns will have the opportunity to meet with one or more federal judges, sit in on hearings, and have one-on-one meetings with a number of the Court’s management team.

CMC students must enroll in INT 199: Summer Internships in Leadership or Independent Study, and as a requirement of INT 199, must work a minimum of 200 hours over a minimum 2-month duration. Interns are responsible for arranging their own housing and transportation.

Internships are sponsored by CMC, with award amounts of up to $3,500 depending on financial aid and other factors.
