The 2013 Working Mother 100 Best Companies make schedule flexibility a bedrock benefit. They know that working parents will get the job done—whether 9-to-5 or late at night, down the hall from the boss or in an office at home.
One of the benefits closest to our hearts here at Working Mother is paid family leave. For years, we’ve required all applicants to the working mother 100 Best Companies to offer some paid maternity leave, and this year we upped the ante to require that applicants offer at least one fully paid week of leave to new moms working full-time.
